I am trying to organise the Houston OP community and am opleased to say that we have a multi practice response. The Barr foundation and SPS has stepped up and offered materials. I am in communication with Houston Police dept, and we are trying to identify those with need.

Does anyone have knowledge of, or had contact with anyone regarding
those individuals within the O and P community that have been impacted
by Hurricane Katrina? I would assume that with the horrific damage in
the Gulf coast areas that many of our colleagues have sustained
significant damage, if not total loss of their homes and/or businesses.
Is there any effort under way to identify those that have experienced
losses and how may we be of assistance to them in their time of need?
