O&P Committee,
Rick Parr C.P.O. (from Slidell, Louisiana) called me Sunday. Rick's concern
is all the displaced patients that need O&P. The O&P facilities in the areas
that have taken all the displaced O&P patients may need help. They may be
asked to provide services and not get paid.
Will the government help in paying for the services? I don't think anyone
knows that answer.
I propose if the need is their, that a system should be set up so O&P
facilities/practitioners can donate money, components, or whatever to these
facilities that need help.
My office will donate money to this cause.
